Silver Waters (A Poem by Silver Moon)

The moonlight shines on silver waters,

A man shows his youngest daughter,

The slow ripples of the silver water,

They sit and watch the brightly lit sky,

The moon shining ever so bright,

With its vivid white floating high in the sky,

The man tells his youngest daughter,

A story when his father showed him silver waters,

The moon was bright on that cold winter night,

He told him of his ancestors before,

Who looked upon the very same pond,

With its softly flowing water,

Rippling with every breath the wind takes,

The moon shining down on the silver pond,

And the stars silently twinkling,

They all watched the silver waters,

Sparkling bright at night the Silver Waters shine.
